Bolivia 2008

Greetings! This is Yolee posting for my father.
We want to thank you all for your prayers and share some of the highlights of my fathers last trip.

One of the highlights in Bolivia was being able to take the wheelchair to Alfredo, a boy we shared about in one of our last updates. This wheelchair was donated in Germany, while my father was their for a leaders conference and shared about this need. The way the Lord provided the chair was beautiful and it was wonderful to be able to bless Alfredo and his parents in this way. Please keep them in your prayers. Alfredo's grandmother is a devout believer, but his parents
do not know the Lord.

The conferences were a blessing for the brothers and also for my father as he was able to see the hunger and desire to seek and do God's will. I believe that is the dream of any pastor, but in this case my father was ministering to pastors and leaders already ministering! Naturally they must have a hunger and desire to seek God's will! But I believe my father was blessed to see how humble the brothers received God's Word and how fresh that desire is! Unfortunately humility is a virtue
lost in many men and women in ministry, so to see the fresh commitment and love for God's people in these pastors and leaders was a true blessing and if you know my father, this charges his batteries!
While in Bolivia he held two pastor/leadership conferences . In Trinidad 49 brothers and sisters attended. In Riberalta 160 attended, after the Inductive Bible Study seminar with pastor Dan Finfrock.
My father served as pastor Dan's translator and has been blessed in partnering with pastor Dan in ministry and the fellowship they have shared. Thank you pastor Dan!
While in Riberalta my father met brothers from Brazil and was invited to share in a border town of Brazil. So off to Brazil went my Chinese looking father!
Back in Bolivia many pastors expressed their desire for him to return and give marriage, youth, as well as more leadership conferences. The Lord is clearly opening more ministry opportunities! Please continue
to pray for these needs and for provision to make the trips to South America.

Our correspondence seminar STSDC continues to grow in numbers and in different cities of Bolivia. We pray that we will be able to continue going to do periodical follow-ups to encourage the pastors and leaders
taking the course, as well as give the needed guidance through the studies.
It is a blessing to see how the Lord is coordinating so that my father is able to supervise the Seminar, give conferences on specific themes (marriage, youth, leaders etc.), and translate for the IBS seminars.

Once again thank you for your prayers!
May the Lord bless you!
In His time,
Yolee A. Fanelli

Cool Pictures!!

My Father-in-Law is truly a brave man! I hope that I can go someday, just to stand near that same snake and show how brave I am!

Thanks for posting these!

Blessings,
