The Radio Station!

While my father was in Villa Monte, Bolivia he was invited to speak on the local Christian radio station. I love this story, because it has a lot to do with what we picture with
what we are told or hear! I'll explain! First when my father said he would be sharing from the Christian radio station I pictured something more modern and fancy.
Well, there was another person that was picturing something different when they heard my father's voice over the radio!
There was a lady that attended the IBS seminar out of curiosity of seeing what my father looked like! Yes, that's right! She though my father was tall, handsome and bald!
When she attended the seminar and shared her testimony that curiosity brought her to the seminar and she was blessed to have attended. My father in response to her testimony said "Sister you must have been very surprised to see that I was all the opposite! Short, not good looking, and with plenty of hair!"
I think it is funny how we picture a place or person God can use and miss the mysterious way he works! I pictured something else for the radio station, but the reality is that the Lord is using this humble location and equiptment to reach many people.
The lady pictured a tall, handsome, bald man behind the strong manly voice she heard, but the reality is that the Lord is using a short Chinese (good looking in my opinion and I don't think he will be going bald any time soon) man to reach many for His Kingdom.
I hope this story will encourage you to do the best with what God has given you!
