Bolivia Team Testimony 2

I was especially touched on this trip. The people in Santa Ana are such warm and friendly people.
Everyone was happy to talk to us, even though many of us didn't speak the language very well.
We had a wonderful time with the children, too. Doing crafts and puppet skits and teaching Bible stories.
It seemed like every youngster in town wanted to come - I remember one session where we had nearly two hundred kids! There were just so many more kids who wanted to come to VBS than I had imagined.
I wish we had brought double the amount of supplies and had a team twice as big!

Alcides and Ortencia were such true a Christian brother and sister to us. The sacrifices they made to allow us into their home (which they never mentioned, of course) had to be many and significant. But what wonderful fellowship we had with them! They have a special place in my heart and even though it's been several months since we've gotten back from Bolivia, I still think about them almost every day. Among other things, I share their heart for the people who live down the river. And that is where I was really touched. What a blessing it was for me personally to have had the chance to meet all of those people who live in such a difficult place and who have so little.
I sensed a warmness and openness about them that really captured my heart.

This missions trip to Bolivia was a special trip. We laughed, we cried, we prayed, we played with the kids, shared the Gospel with adults, and we lived more life in 10 days than we do in 100 days back home.
I'm praying the Lord will make a way for us to come back very soon.
And more than that, the Lord will lead many other teams and people to minister in Bolivia.
Blessings,
Bruce
